collaboration “Music & Quilt”
"Waterfall" is made with field recordings recorded in western Norway autumn 2011.
A synthesizer adds musical qualities resembling water drops, which evolves into melodies, and small natural clicks on the recording of the water, is cut into rhythmic patterns. Instead of recreating the sound of a waterfall, the idea was to create a musical piece that creates a waterfall in the listeners mind. |
